North Hastings Community Centre – Mechanical
This tender encompasses the Rink Divisions (13 18 00) of the scope of work for a Mechanical Contractor to provide the work for the replacement of a refrigeration plant at the North Hastings Community Centre in Bancroft, Ontario.
The project will consist of a life cycle replacement of the refrigeration system for the ice rink. This Mechanical scope comprises all required refrigerant pump-out and disposal, the installation of all fully operational and functional elements, including equipment and coordination with the installation of other scope’s supplied components. This includes receipt and installation of the Primary Equipment’s packaged refrigeration systems, packaged pump decks and dry fluid cooler in addition to the supply and installation of all other required mechanical components, process piping and refrigeration field piping specified within required to make a fully functional refrigeration plant system.
A mandatory site walkthrough is being scheduled for February 12, 2026, to be coordinated by appointment. Bidders must register for the site walkthrough by contacting [email protected]. Note that all questions are to be submitted in writing to [email protected], no questions will be answered on-site.

Contractors are advised that the Town of Bancroft reserves the right to accept any proposal or reject all. Proposals shall be irrevocable and remain open for acceptance by the Town for a period of ninety (90) days from the proposal closing date. The lowest (bid) or any proposal shall not necessarily be accepted.
