North Hastings Community Centre – Demolition
This tender encompasses the demolition and disposal of the existing ice rink refrigeration plan, the removal of the concrete equipment pad and the reconditioning and repair of the refrigeration plant room. All Refrigerant will be removed prior to this demolition.
The project will consist of the complete demolition of the existing refrigeration plant, piping, equipment and associated components, including the removal of the equipment pad, cooling tower and its associated equipment, reconditioning of the plant room floor is to be completed including the sealing and coating of the plant floor.
A mandatory site walkthrough is being scheduled for February 12, 2026, to be coordinated by appointment. Bidders must register for the site walkthrough by contacting [email protected]. Note that all questions are to be submitted in writing to [email protected], no questions will be answered on-site.

Contractors are advised that the Town of Bancroft reserves the right to accept any proposal or reject all. Proposals shall be irrevocable and remain open for acceptance by the Town for a period of ninety (90) days from the proposal closing date. The lowest (bid) or any proposal shall not necessarily be accepted.
