TENDER FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE BANCROFT STANDPIPE
Sealed tenders submitted using a two (2) envelope system, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by the Clerk, Town of Bancroft, 8 Hastings Heritage Way, Box 790 Bancroft, ON K0L 1C0 until:
2:00 PM LOCAL TIME, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2026
for the replacement of the Bancroft standpipe including: Supply and installation of a new standpipe (including foundation and associated appurtenances); Supply and installation of new control building and valve chamber; Installation of new watermain and drain piping; Demolition and removal of existing standpipe (following commission of new standpipe); Supply and installation of instrumentation and controls; Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC general work; Site and restoration works; and supply and install a new isolation valve and actuator at the location indicated on Snow Road.
Tenders will be opened in public and broadcast by way of a Zoom meeting directly after tender closing. Unofficial bid results will be emailed to all those who submitted bids. Language of tender submission is English.
Complete tender documents may be obtained digitally from Jp2g Consultants Inc., by emailing their office as noted below, after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026. An email will be returned with the link and password where the documents, drawings, and any future addenda may be retrieved.
A non-mandatory site meeting will be held on, Tuesday, October 27th at 10:00 am local time. The site meeting will be held at the Bancroft Standpipe site (100 Newkirk Boulevard, Bancroft, Ontario) to allow bidders to review site conditions and access. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site meeting.
The successful Bidder will be required to file with the Town the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) days of being awarded the Contract.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
