2022 MUNICIPAL & SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
NOTICE TO ALL MUNICIPAL ELECTORS IN THE TOWN OF BANCROFT

This notice is for anyone proposing to be a candidate in the 2022 municipal and school board elections on October 24, 2022. Nominations for the positions listed below must be filed on the prescribed form available either in person or by your agent, with the Returning Officer during normal office hours between the first business day of May in 2022 to Thursday, August 18, 2022, and between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 (Nomination Day). Please make an appoint with the Returning Officer to file your nomination.

The required filing fee for the Head of Council is $200.00 and all other offices are $100.00 (cash, debit, certified cheque or money order made payable to the Town of Bancroft) and must accompany the signed form.

Candidates must not spend or raise any funds for their election campaign until the registration/nomination form has been filed.
